Product description

The main technical data of the whole series of OTL connectors:

- Short-circuit tested Short-circuit Class A ( Class A ) possibility of use before protection.

- EN 61238 certified for use with copper and aluminum conductors

- Flammability class V0 according to UL94

- Rated voltage: 1000V AC/DC

- Complies with EN 60947, EN 61238 standards, GOST-R, SGS FIMKO certificates.

Purpose and application:

OTL connectors are universal connectors both in terms of application ( power, industry, residential installations ) and in terms of the material of the wire conductor ( wire or cable, sector rigid and multi-stranded wires ). Thanks to special tinning technology, they allow convenient and safe connection of wires made of both copper and aluminum, without the need for any Cu/Al adapters, special bimetallic terminals and others. The wires are connected directly to the terminals, and a special contact paste applied already at the production stage ensures the protection of the electrical contact point, and also makes the OTL terminals ready for use immediately after removal from the package. The versatility of the application is guaranteed by the rated voltage of up to 1,000V AC/DC, while the housing made of material in the V0 flammability class ( according to UL94 ) makes these connectors safe to use. Most importantly, however, OTL connectors are suitable for all industrial applications, thanks to rigorous testing for compliance with IEC/EN 60947 and, above all, IEC/EN 61238-1:2003 standards. Each OTL connector undergoes mechanical tests and rigorous load and short-circuit tests, resulting in the so-called short-circuit class A ( Class A ). This means that the connectors are suitable for applications where there is power distribution and where the terminals are used as main power terminals in installations subject to current overloads and short circuits. According to current regulations, any electrical connector serving as a main ( power ) or distribution connector must be short-circuit classified and carry the Class A designation.
