SPF optical insert allows to transmit data at speeds up to 1.25 Gbps over distances up to 20 km. SPF module is used for use with single-mode fiber optic cable. MikroTik SFPONU is a GPON ONU module that allows the use of any RouterBOARD device in Fiber to the Home installations without the use of special modems or software.

All MikroTik SFP products regardless of RouterOS version support MiKrotik SFPONU. The presented module provides a GPON ONU interface, providing network connectivity for SFP uplink slot devices, allowing them to be deployed in GPON networks for FTTx applications or business services.
